The build partner your clients never meet.
You win the work and you keep the relationship. We build the site to your design or your brief, hand it over as files you own, and never appear anywhere in it. Your name goes on the work.
Why agencies end up looking for this
Most marketing, brand and design agencies are asked for a website more often than they can staff one. There are three usual answers and each has a cost that shows up later.
Turning the work away
The safest option and the most expensive. The client takes the site elsewhere, and often takes the next piece of brand work with it, because whoever built the website is who they ring first next time.
Hiring for it
A developer is a full salary. If the request comes round four times a year rather than forty, the maths does not work, and the person you hired spends most of the year doing something else.
Finding somebody for the one job
This works until it does not. A freelancer who goes quiet in week three does not cost you a project, it costs you the client, and you are the one having that conversation.
How a partner build runs
You only have to be present for the first part of it.
You send the design, or just the brief
A Figma file if you have one, and we work from it as drawn. If there is no design yet, a page of notes about what the client sells and who buys it is enough to start from. We will tell you which of the two you are actually holding, because they are different jobs with different prices.
You get the price in writing before anything starts
Scope, figure, and the date it lands, quoted before a line is written. If something in the file changes the number, we stop and say so rather than putting it on the final invoice. You quote your client from a figure you can rely on.
We build it and you hand it over
You get the files, the repository and the deployment, under your name. If you want us on a client call we come as your team. If you never mention us at all, that is the normal case rather than the awkward one.
The part that makes it white label
Everybody uses the word. These are the specific commitments behind it, and they are worth putting to anybody else you are considering.
- We never contact your client, during the build or after it.
- Our name is not in the footer, the comments, the repository or the meta tags.
- We sign your NDA rather than asking you to accept ours.
- You own the files outright, with no builder licence and no platform lock in.
- Anything your client sends us comes straight back to you unanswered.
What a partner build costs
The same scope bands as direct work, quoted per build rather than per hour. Once there is a second project there is a trade rate, because a partner who returns is worth more than a client who does not.
| Scope | What it covers | From |
|---|---|---|
| One page | Five to seven sections and one clean motion idea, built and handed over. | $500 |
| The usual site | Deeper content, richer motion, and several sections that genuinely differ from one another. | $1,200 |
| Larger build | Several pages with a full motion treatment, or a WordPress build the client can edit. | $2,000 |
If the budget and the brief do not match, we say so at the quote rather than at the end.
Start with one project
There are twenty five sample builds on this site, five businesses with five genuinely different directions each, from a mountain lodge to a barbell gym to a solar installer. They are fictional and labelled as fictional, so you can judge the work without wondering which parts a client insisted on.
The sensible way in is a single build with a real deadline on it, so you find out how it goes before anything depends on it. Tell us what is on your desk now.
